Let's assume a Quality Assurance Plan, Do, Check, Act cycle is a good idea. I'm thinking of this from a pair development point of view.

  • Start Work
    • Plan - Setting Out what we are going to do today. This will involve looking at earlier Daily Logs and the Requirements List (or Backlog, whatever you like to call it). It may be a brief "stand up" meeting, or a session via instant messaging. Pick an agreed set of achievable tasks. If one of the "pair" is busy, then just agree what the other can be getting on with.
    • Do/Check cycle, probably more than one.
  • Lunch - work towards lunch as a positive end to the first cycle, not just as a break, though it will refresh you.
  • Afternoon
    • Do/Check
    • Act - release whatever progress has been made and finish with Wash-up - insert your favoured term.
